APAAR ID Registration Online Assam: The process of issuing special Apaar ID cards has been started by the School Education Council. Apaar ID will have 12 special digits to identify students of all private and government schools across the state, just like Aadhaar card.

All the data related to the student’s studies will be saved in these digits. Apaar ID cards will be used to identify students just like Aadhaar cards.

According to the rules, it is mandatory for all students from class 1 to class 12 in the state to get Apaar ID.

What is an APAAR ID Card?

APAAR ID Card will work just like Aadhaar, from now on it has become mandatory for every student to get APAAR ID.

In this card, students will be given a 12-digit APAAR ID. In this card, the academic achievements of the students along with other various records will be saved, and it will work as a One Nation One Student ID.

How to Apply for Apaar ID Registration?

The School Apaar ID Cards authorized by the Education Council will be made in the schools only and Apaar cards will be issued from the schools through Aadhaar number.

To get the Apaar ID card made, schools will have to obtain the consent of the parents or guardians of the students, because the data of the students will be shared with all the education-related institutions and departments.

For this, Aadhaar verification of all the students will be done. The data related to the APAAR ID of the school students will also be saved in the DigiLocker Application.

How to Make Apaar ID in Digi locker

To get an APAAR ID Card, students can follow the steps given here:

First of all, you have to go to the Google Play Store and download the DigiLocker app.
After this, Create your account on DigiLocker with the help of an Aadhar card.
This account will be used for E-KYC.
Now, for APAAR ID, students will have to go to school with their guardians.
After that parents have to fill out the parental consent form to get APAAR ID.
In the next step, APAAR ID will be generated by the UDISE system on the basis of students’ PAN ID, which will be given a 12-digit unique ID number.
After the school creates the APAAR ID of the student, this card will be uploaded to the student’s DigiLocker Account, from where the student will be able to easily download the APAAR ID Card online.

How to Make Apaar ID Online

To make an Apaar ID card, you will first have to visit the Official Website of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank).
You have to click on the ‘My Account’ option on the Homepage.
After that click on the ‘Student’ option.
Click on the ‘Sign UP’ option to create a DigiLocker Account.
Now verify by sending OTP to your Mobile Number, after that enter the Aadhaar Card Number and all the details.
Now after completion of Registration, you will receive a Username and Password on your mobile number.
Using this you can ‘Login’ into your DigiLocker account.
Now, permission will be asked to share Aadhaar card information with ABC for ‘DigiLocker KYC Verification’.
Where you have to click on the ‘I Agree’ option. After this, you will have to enter your education-related information.
Such as your school or University Name, Class, Course Name, Address, etc.
Now you click on ‘Submit’.
After that, your Apaar ID card will appear on the screen.

How to Download an Apaar ID Card?

To download the Apaar ID card, you can follow the steps given below:

First of all, you have to go to your DigiLocker app.
After this, click on “See All” in front of “Documents Issued” on the DigiLocker homepage.
You will see the names of the documents uploaded on DigiLocker.
From here you have to click on the three dots in front of the APAAR ID.
After clicking on the three dots, you have to click on “View PDF”.
Now you will see Apaar ID on the screen which will contain details like your ID number, name, date of birth, etc.
An option for Download will be visible below this ID card.
Once you click on download, your Apaar ID card will be Downloaded to your device.
